Freedom 2 Be U

I believe we all deserve to belong. First to ourselves.

I help people who've spent too long living by someone else's script, professionals who've "checked every box" but still feel lost, parents trying to break cycles without breaking themselves, and anyone who's ready to choose differently.

My approach blends neuroscience, lived experience, and deep compassion. I meet you where you are, but I won't let you stay stuck there.

My Beliefs & Philosophy

Why I Coach

Ever since I was a kid, I've been drawn to transformation. I'd sit outside my dad's door listening as he counseled people. I could hear the shift, how they walked in burdened and left lighter. I didn't know it then, but I was witnessing the power of holding space, hearing truth, and choosing a new path.

Now, I offer that same space, honest, safe, patient, and a little fierce. This isn't about perfection. It's about choosing to belong fully to yourself. And from that place, everything changes.

My Philosophy

Change isn't about flipping a switch, it's about rewiring the filters, stories, and shame we inherited. It takes time. It takes courage. It takes compassion.

At the heart of my coaching is creating the pause, the moment between impulse and action, between your inner critic's first word and your deeper truth's reply. In that pause, freedom begins.

My Story

I coach from lived transformation, not just theory.

From overachiever to cycle-breaker to rebuilding from scratch

I spent years checking every box, climbing every ladder, and proving my worth through achievement. But success felt hollow when I realized I was living someone else's definition of it. Breaking those cycles meant starting over, scary but ultimately liberating.

Coming out and navigating identity after growing up evangelical

Growing up in evangelical culture, I learned to hide parts of myself that didn't fit the mold. Coming out later in life meant not just accepting who I am, but unlearning shame and rebuilding my relationship with authenticity, faith, and belonging.

Parenting in open adoption and growing empathy for those who are different than me

Open adoption taught me that love isn't about ownership or control, it's about honoring all the people who contribute to a child's story. This experience deepened my understanding of complex family dynamics and the beauty of chosen connections.

High-pressure careers and leaving a 25-year industry

After 25 years in high-stakes corporate environments, I realized I was trading my mental health and values for external validation. Walking away meant facing financial uncertainty, but it led me to work that actually aligns with who I am.

Loss and resilience through cancer and a family stroke

Crisis has a way of stripping away everything non-essential. Facing cancer and supporting family through stroke taught me that resilience isn't about being strong, it's about being present with what is, while still choosing hope.

Embracing neurodiversity in my family and myself

Learning about neurodiversity in my family opened my eyes to how many of us have been trying to fit into systems that weren't designed for how our brains work. Embracing these differences has been a journey of self-compassion and advocacy.
